Stanton Island Little League making noise off the field

Yanks owner George Steinbrenner (sp?) donated 5,000 dollars to the Stanton Island little league baseball association for making it to the LLWS. In response to the 5,000 dollar donation the Stanton Island little league president said that he expected much more money. That Steinbrenner can just throw up 5,000 in the air and it means nothing to him. Also I saw on Around The Horn yesterday they had a kid drop the f bomb in the dugout and it got caught on camera by ESPN.

it was hilarious.. the coach slapped the kids head, like the top where his hat goes, if i remember seeing it correctly..

There was quite a bit of questioning and showing up umpires by players in the games I've seen, especially from the US teams. That definitely comes from parents and coaches.
The pitcher for new Hampshire who struck out like 14 and beat Louisiana actually laughed, shook his head and threw up his hands on one strike/ball call.
I've seen Roger Clemons get thrown out of game for less than that in playoffs yrs ago.

you know, on top of all that...the way they lost the game was unbelievable as well. i felt sorry for the kid that left the base.
