I saw that kid from Georgia pitch, and they say he did throw 81 in the regionals. In the LLWS though, he has only hit 76 that I have seen. Still... that's bringin' serious heat.
Gotta pull for the team from Lake Charles, LA. They were hit hard by the hurricane and some of the kids still aren't back in their homes. I think the pitcher for Lake Charles today was still living with his grandmother.

I would like to see where some of the kids are from past LLWS.
Remember Aaron Alvey (SP?) from that Louisville, KY team back in '02? Wonder if that kid is still as successful on the diamond now as he was back in Little League.

im betting on them. im an astros fan but i know they wont make the playoffs. japan is great at baseball and they are almost always in the final. if america was smart they would make an all star team with the best players in the country instead of just cities. its funny how our little leaguers in one city can be better than those of an entire country yet when they grow up and are put together with all the great players of america they cant beat them (world baseball classic). pretty pathetic

Teams like Japan aren't representative of a whole country either. They are a city just like American teams and countries like Japan are treated as a region by LLB.

He is unreal. How can a kid be that big that young? Saudi may be the team to beat this year.
