Any 12-string guitar players out there?

I 'played' with one yesterday - a Takemine ..... it has such a smooth, soft, mellow tone ..... sure would like to own one - this one was about $450 I think

a buddy I jam with has a 12-string he doesn't play... I'd like to play around with one...

i just had a pick and went into a local music store ...... played several but the 12 I fell in love with :inlove:

too bad I still suck !!!!! got a long way to go ... :p

You play a 12 string just like a 6 string. You just need to know how to tune it.

keep at it... it gets better if you try and better yourself and not play the same thing everrrrrrrrrry dammmmmmmmn ddddddday (trust me ;) )

But once you nail it, it's the funnest thing ever...

don't even have to be in a band and you can get all of the girls :thumbsup:

i use to play it... isnt it called the Bajo Sexto in spanish music? if so... its pretty fun once you get the hang of it.

and you gotta use more of your finger tips...

I've picked one up before and it wasn't bad, but going fast was a little harder because I had to adjust to putting down two strings where there is usually one...

i only play 6!
