That's a nice one!! Is it just new stands or are they re-doing the field also??

Greenwood looked into getting the "astroplay" this year. (As anyone knows who has played in Greenwood - our field is pretty crappy!!)

Anyway...we were told astroplay in an area surrounded by cottonfields, like our field is...would be ruined in 2-3 years. So....we decided to re-sod the field. Gone is the 4 different kinds of grass and for the first time in I don't know when, we will have a football field with the same color grass!!

A new stadium would be awesome, they have been trying to get one here, don't know if it'll happen or not, BUT I like the old one, call me sentimental! It has a feel about it, not all metal and fake green...you know, it has a history and a past. But the coaches I'm sure would disagree 100% with me!!

Awesome stadium 3A! I agree with you Ranger Mom that he deserves a 5 but I checked and I had already rated him and you a five. Sorry I can't help any more.

3A....WR/LB that's a strange combo, but now that I think about it, my 7th grade year I was a QB/LB. Also that old stadium holds alot of memories for this former 'Rabbit. Good luck to you guys next year.

Super nice facility for Forney! Enjoy it and make some special memories there for yourself. Good luck in your endevors next season. I agree with some others, you post more mature than lots of adults.

Is that the one where Greenwood and Bandera played?? If so, it was VERY nice. I liked the fact that the concession stand and bathrooms weren't under the stands. You could still pretty much see the game while you were standing in line for some munchies. But, I sat around several disgruntled smokers in Waco who weren't allowed to go out and smoke a cigarette! I also liked the replay screen they have. I guess the only thing better about the Midland Sports Complex is there are more of the fold down seats and it is landscaped nicer.

And 3afan2K3, that is a very nice stadium. You have something to look forward to a few years ahead. wink

The Forney stadium looks like it is going to be a nice one indeed. I drive by it from time to time and they are really coming along with it. Crandall is finally adding a lot of new stands to its stadium, something that they have needed for a while. Crandall is also in the process of building a brand new high school that should be ready in a couple of years.
