Sounds about right. Sell back to the bookstore for $80! :D

Actually, I suggest using Half.com for both buying and selling. Pretty good prices there.

nice idea but that is not an option --- they came as a package and each nursing student had to get it :nerd:

civil engineering students at Texas A&I can expect to pay $700-800 max. some semesters. thats info coming from an EIT we just hired. i dont remember it being that high when i was going there in the early 90's.

OMG :( The sad thing is, more than likely, half of them will hardly be used.

When I was going to college, most books were used only for reference. They were never realy utilized in the classroom. I still have them all. To bad they are all outdated. Who wants a book that explains the processes of the first Pentium chips? Didn't help me out when I worked for AMD.

sometimes you get lucky though. my calculus book was pretty pricey, but i was able to use it for Cal. I, Cal. II, and Cal III. also, most all the engineering books are used as reference in the workplace.

1 semester books for engineer- 825...and thats cause i had one of my books already:(

one thing, i dont like to sell my books back, i like to keep them and trade them off or sell them to freinds. i found you can get alittle more than what the bookstore will give you.
