The astronomy professor stood at the front of the class during the final exam and announced, "Ok class here is your bonus question. On the back page of your exam, I want you to draw a sketch and write down all of the parts of a micro wave."

Puzzled, a young blonde girl sitting in the second row raised her hand almost sheepishly.

"Yes?" the professor asked.

"Um...do we have to list ALL of the parts?" the blonde questioned.


"Of course," the professor responded. "All wave forms are the same, whether it is a radio wave or a gamma wave. All waves on the electromagnetic spectrum have the same basic parts."
