While I have it every Wednesday...I think it's overrated here in Dallas. These people need to take a trip up to Chicago and try a real pizza. My favorite in Chicago was Gino's. It's worth the 30-45 minutes you'll wait in line plus the time it takes to prepare it. Once you have a true deep dish pizza (aka the ones you have to eat with a fork) then you will realize that nothing else can compare!

3afan, is right. Campisi's is awesome. As for the the Chicago, I'm not that crazy about deep dish. Too much bread.

As for the one's on that list, Papa John's inches out Gattis in my book. I probably would vote Mr. Jim's above both though.

Anyone who is around West Ft. Worth, there is a place called Parton's Pizza on Cherry Lane. Their supreme is the best I've ever had.

Papa's is good... my favorite chain pizza is still Pizza Hut though, just grew up on it I guess...

I had some Pizza in NYC and Delaware, it was okay but not as you'd expect from the cocky northeast...

There is a chain called Niki Romas (sp?)... very small chain though.. There is one in the Mall in Victoria, the food-court in the mall at the Dobie Dorms in Austin and one somewhere in Temple... they are owned by three brothers who have the whole Italian accent and everything... I've only eatin at the Victoria and Austin one... their calzones are tasty as well...

Ate at a California Pizza kitchen in D.C. when we were up there, those are actually interesting and very good...

But I tell you one place I'd never get pizza from and that is that place they had me running on that damn game that was posted on here... that was some nasty crap they were having us make... no wonder it never stayed open over a year...

Also Gumby's in Austin is very good... I think it's a University Chain that tries to cater to college students...

I tried out Mazzio's back in October of last year. It was ok, but I still prefer Papa Johns, Mr Gattis, or even Sbarros.
