Apparently the schedule was wrong.

[Sweetwater Red]

The schedules floating around shortly after re-alignment were
incorrect. We do play WF here the first game of the season. We
also travel to Canyon. I went to the field house at lunch time and
got an official schedule from Coach Jackson.

He's alot bigger guy when you're standing next to him.

Sweetwater, yall should beat WF they are installing a new offense and should be on a steep learning curve, specially in the first game. & a nudder thing the Wichita paper has the game in sweetwater. Might wanta save yourself a liddle gax money, lesson you was wantin to come up an see me in Iowa Park.

I called the fieldhouse today too. I am glad the Wichita game is in Sweetwater, but I really wanted to see the Canyon game. Oh well, I guess I will see who is playing around here that night.

Just got back from the little assembly the team has every year. Anyways, the game vs. Canyon will be played in lubbock, but like the Borger game, they don't know the exact site.

Coach Jackson himself said that it was in Lubbock.
