Post the upcoming scrimmages this coming weekend.

Wharton @ Yoakum is the only one that I know. Varsity should start around 10:00 am.

Cuero vs Austin LBJ - Saturday, Aug 19th starting @ 5 pm with Freshman, then JV and then Varsity. Coach Reeve said there is a chance the Freshman and JV could both play @ 5 and then Varsity @ 6, but that will be worked out later on this week..

Port Isabel vs Los Fresnos 5A - formally was played annually as the Battle of Hwy 100, for years. Now that Los Fresnos is 5A for it's 3rd year, this game is only played as a scrimmage now.

Frenship picked to win Region 1....hmmm I dunno about this year....I think Stephenville and Everman may have something to say about that this year! Stephenville was D-1 last year...with Aledo now being the largest school in 8-4A Stephenville will certianly go D-2...

About 7.... The 9th grade starts at 5, JV starts at 6, and varsity is to start at 7. It'll be a 48-minute game situation scrimmage, from what I gather, so it should be pretty interesting.
