i think they just got mad at the first of the year and decided amongst themselves that they were gonna have to hit and pitch in order to win but it took a while to get back into the hitting groove...now the fruits of their labor is paying off...

Backe will have to hit one, considering he's probably their best hitting pitcher.

I was at Minute Maid on Labor Day 2004 when Backe hit one off of Aaron Harang of the Reds...a 3-run shot if I remember correctly. So he is definitely capable.:cool:
