As opposed to someone who is on a 3A site showing a pic of an NCAA stadium.

I haven't posted a pic of an NCAA stadium and that questions wasn't meant to come off as arrogant like you think it did. It was just simply a question.

That it's a pic of DKR and last time I checked UT was not 3A, yet you are ragging on someone else for not posting a pic of a 3A stadium.

I really hate the stadium at Gainesville. It's old, out of date, and needs to be torn down. I'm really upset that while they are building a new high school, they won't be building a new stadium. So that means a.) no new stadium and b.) once the high school is built, the stadium will be "off campus."

PI- I can't see it Bull Butter.

Forney- Very nice looking stadium

Sweetwater - I truly can't believe that is a 3A stadium, kinda reminds me of the one in Zapata, (kind of looks sunk it the ground giving it that bowl effect) Are there any seats by the goal post? Very nice stadium!

Hondo - very nice! looks 100 times better than when I last saw it . '82 (hondo vs cotulla) & Marching Band contest in '81.

Well, it is called Mustang Bowl, and yes it is a true bowl (not many of those around). As for seating on the ends, there are concrete shelves about every 5' or so, from top to bottom, all the way around on each end, that people sit on all the time, but there arent real seats there. They do catch alot of overflow crowd though, when all seats are full. "The Bowl" hosts lots of playoff games during the post season.

They put up a monument north of the stadium. There are pics of it online but they won't link to here for some reason. I figure that they will go with Safe Play here pretty soon...if nothing else than to save on water.

sorry, its late and I don't want to fool w/ resizing...

Man those pictures look bad. I really wish that they could fix it up, or maybe even just build a new one.

Yep, the last game they played before the Hurricane was BC vs. LC-M @ BC Friday Night, the next Friday night, was scheduled to play Jasper then Silsbee, both of those games were cancelled. First game after the storm wasn't until Friday, Oct. 14th -- School was still out due to the storm, then the next game was Tuesday, Oct. 18th. Was very weird!
