Just for my boy Hops...I jacked this from a conversation this morning on Mike & Mike (or Eric & Eric as it was today...probably why I liked it).

Would you rather be a key player on a world championship team or be inducted into the Hall of Fame for your sport?

I voted Championship here but had a tough time justifying it over a HOF induction. The world champonship however is something every player on every team dreams of when they step on the practice field for the first time each season. No one goes into the season draming of mediocrity. The HOF is just icing on top of the cake.

As selfish as it sounds, I'd rather get paid a lot for playing a game I love for a long time and then be honored in the end. Don't get me wrong, being a key player on a World Championship team would be nice, but would you rather be a Joe Carter, a Kirk Gibson, or a Robert Horry... or would you rather be a Dan Marino, a Barry Sanders, or a "Pistol" Pete Maravich?

winning a championship is great and all, but if you win so many then you would want the recognition you deserve...
