Sweetwater faces 4A Wichita Falls High. This is a team that Dave
Campbell has picked to finish third in their district behind Denton
Ryan and WF Rider. They are returning 4/7 starters from last
years 6-4 team.

The game is being played in Wichita Falls. I'll be honest I think
are chances are about 60/40 to pull out the win in a game
decided by 7 points are less.

Snyder reloads at several key positions as do the Loboes. I say Tigers by 14.

Wylie plays Brownwood @ Shotwell.

Wylie is changing to a spread (zone-read option) type offense with a guy that has never taken a snap at QB before. While it should be exciting to watch...it will definitely be pretty rough early in the year.

Might wanta save yourself a liddle gax money, lesson you was wantin to come up an see me in Iowa Park.

Honestly, I think our chances are pretty high. We've got Waco Connally and I know Matthew has them in his top 25. We return 3/7 - they return 6/7. The 3 we're returning on O will all be in different positions than last season. A couple of our defensive starters have moved to OL, which will bring some more leadership with the rest of them being young. Since WC has to find a replacement QB, I'm certain we'll be up to the test.

opener for Gilmer is Las Vegas Bishop Gorman. if i said we were gonna win, i would be lying. don't have a clue. i know they hardly ever pass so that could be a problem for us if D is not ready to go. as for them..............i hope they have a good secondary:D

I like the fact that my school is opening with a home game on my day off. That's about it. :)
