Here's more drama for you. I went back and did another Top Class 3A Playoff Contenders 1998-2005. Only nine teams managed to stay alive since 1998 the year when Class 3A was split into two divisons. And in this list the Sinton Pirates knocked off the Commerce Tigers by inches.

01...SINTON*.....................82-19
02...COMMERCE.................82-21
03...MARLIN.......................81-27
04...ABILENE WYLIE..........80-24
05...DAINGERFIELD............75-25
06...CHINA SPRING............65-29
07...PERRYTON..................62-31
08...CRANDALL..................56-31
09...LINDALE.....................55-36

1998-2004...COMMERCE
1998-2005...SINTON***

Forney should be on that list even though then have been gone since 03.

Forney would've been on there if they stayed in Class 3A from 1998-2005. Forney could've been in the top five they do have a great playoff tradition
