we already had this talk. FSN carries all of their programs in HD...you just have to pay a lot to get the service. I'm pretty sure that UT wouldn't put up that big of a scoreboard if everything wasn't going to be in HD on it.

Actually if you want to get technical, judging from that picture, the A&M scoreboard looks to be a 4x3 aspect ratio. High Definition is natively 16x9, so technically, that isn't an HD scoreboard.

and I think some of mine are starting to get pissed off over me falling asleep watching a DVD at night and thus leaving a fixed image on the screen for a long time. I need to make sure I set a timer to cutoff the TV!

Ahh, the dreaded image retention. Just throw on a solid blue screen or white screen for a few minutes, that usually fixes it.

yeah it only sticks for 5-10 seconds...but I'm still paranoid about it occuring for longer than that some day. Now I just wish that LG had put a 3rd set of component inputs into my TV. I have to swap out my ps2 and DVD cables any time I switch devices.

You have any equipment that you are thinking about getting rid of yet? I have a buddy wanting to get some home audio stuff and I'm sure he would be interested if you are selling.
