:D And another "reading" post. ;)

Congrats! I hope the last 72 pages are better than the 2nd & 3rd sentence. :D

The last chapter I read was actually good! It was set in the 80s and discussed politics...and I'm a bit of a political junkie. Best line: "Karl Marx! Isn’t he still in charge of Russia?" :D

Took a look at the first page of the next chapter and it doesn't look good at all :(

I am too. He should mention these things instead of expecting us to read his mind.

It's just a bad habit. Back before this new board came to be in 2004, I used periods as spaces on the old BB. Unless you used "list" mode, all spaces in between sentences would disappear when you posted. So I just used periods to do the job for me. I don't even think about it anymore, it's second nature now after doing this for about two years.

The post was primarily meant for those who were in the chat with me earlier, but since you asked, I am reading the Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver. Summer reading

I now have 38 pages left. And once I get done, I'm contemplating whether or not to burn this book or sell it on Amazon. It's THAT bad.

1st sentence...3rd sentence...what's the difference...it was all in some type of cryptic code as far as I'm concerned.

Kingsolver didn't exactly write for the ease of reading.
