But seriously, what Gilmer has coming back from last year etc... it's obvious that they'd soak up some votes, so it's no surprise from that angle...

L-E is considered a team that will be very salty this year, so that guy was just throwing that vote out there...

WO-S? All of that talent mixed with some tradition makes them a top 5 team not doubt, and worthy of a #1 ranking so that guy wasn't on crack...

Hondo, however, is a team that I've been wondering about... I know they had a good run last year compared to the last few years, and I also know they have a healthy number of starters returning from last year's squad... HOWEVER.net, besides Sinton which wasn't as spicy as in the past, who did they beat???

This is one of those votes where I am undecided... Hell, maybe the guy's right, maybe they're better than we all know (because I cannot get anyone to tell me WHO they have coming back instead of '7-6 starters' or what have you)... OR maybe he's wrong, and maybe they just played their best game in the first round last year...

All I know is that it is a ranking, and every fan, player and coach on these teams should feel honored to be respected enough to have their team make the list...

But December is the only thing that matters!!!

I respect the recent success the program has had, but I seriously doubt that...

If any drop-down is going to dominate 2A it would be Tatum, the defending 3A champions...

They beat us in 7-on-7 at G-P in late June and those guys (Ingleside) were talking all kinds of smack. I hope for their sake they haven't bought into their own hype...:thinking:
