I laughed. I thought it was worth the 64 bucks I spent on me and 3 of the kids. Geez the movies are getting expensive.

No kidding. And Hollyweird wonders why there's so much piracy going on... Glad to hear it was worth it. I think Will Ferrell is hilarious.

The movie was good though. It was even more than I expected. Great talented cast.

It's crazy!! That's one reason I am liking our new drive-in so much.

$5 each for a double feature and you can bring in your own snacks!

PPHS, I gotta agree with you on this. I got a little nauseous there at the end, but the rest of it was worth it.

"Dear Lord Baby Jesus, 8 pounds, 6 ounces...."

I have not been a fan of Will Ferrell's movies. I liked him on SNL but Anchorman and Elf did nothing for me.

However, the promos of this movie crack me up. I got on the internet and watched a few trailers and I died laughing. We are going to go see it this afternoon.

saw it last night, it was good, but i think it was slightly overrated and overhyped. mostly i thought the one liners by will and the kids were the best part, and of course just will being will, and he is one of the funniest guys ever. overall, it's definitely worth going to, plus i got in free, it's nice to have a friend on the inside.

paid $6.50 this afternoon for the "matinee" @ AMC North Park. Thought the movie was pretty dang funny. Would definitely see it again and consider renting it. Is best watched with other people that you can share the laughter with.

Yep, AMC North Park is pretty steep in price.

youngest son and his g/f went to SA to ice skate but the rink was closed to the public so they ended up seeing Rickie Bobbie and they liked it...... :)

My wife and I have decided to forgo Will Ferrell flicks for a while. We've seen all of them and just recently realized that almost all of them are exactly the same. When he's a supporting character, it's great. As a lead man, I know exactly what's going to happen the whole way through, and it's just not funny anymore - starting with "kicking and screaming," which was pretty much "Talladega Nights." I actually really liked "Elf."

Yeah, Will needs to do something new......he's too predictable in my opinion.....another actor that I'm starting to feel the same way about is Owen Wilson.....his last movie "You, Me and Dupree" was dumb. Maybe it's that I don't like to see grown men acting like 5 yr olds.....would really like to see both of them in a serious role....

IMO you me and dupree was hilarious, owen is usually the same, but it's still freakin hilarious. seeing him doing his lance armstrong thing was dang funny. maybe it's just the really goofy nose.

You know, I liked it about 3/4 of the way into it...then I realized I was laughing at some really tired stuff.......I want to see these overpaid actors stretch their talent....show me something new, you know?? No, I think Owen is a cutie....that's why I want to see him do something different...something romantic and not so goofy!
