what I find interesting is the fact the dealership is now under new ownership. They might have figured out that they were about to be busted and sold while they could.

Have to take my hat off to OU and Coach Stoops. Ol' Barry would have turned his eyes away on this one.

not hating on Stoops, but this was not done because it was the right thing to do. Stoops was proactive because the NCAA would have punished the program AND Bomar. Especially with the B-Ball program problems and the earlier AD situation(Same dealership)

Bob knew if he did not do something, the NCAA would have

Stoops is in a no win situation.....if he does something about it then hes just doing it because the NCAA would eventually do something about it. If he doesn't do anything he's wrong for not doing anything.

Stoops had no choice, especially after it was discovered that Bomar KNOWINGLY broke the rules. If he had turned a blind eye it would've finished him as OU coach when it came to light.
