A couple of years ago, I was driving to Temple to get some Chinese takeout. I called ahead and placed the order. As I got closer to Temple, I realized I had called the wrong place. As a stand up citizen, I called the first place back to cancel the order. The person on the other end (in broken English) told me that the order was ready. I then lied and said my car had broken down.

I crack up every time I think about what he said next; "Where you live? We come get you!"

I remember when we played Monahans in 2003, I believe. The football players burgers were to come from sonic....when the coach got there to pick up the burgers, they were told that the order had been cancelled. It was figured by all it was by someone from Monahans.

Come to find out, it was a football player from Kermit who did it!!

The boys had just lost and weren't really hungy anyway, so the coaches just called ahead and the Midland Whataburger had their burgers waiting on them there.....nice, fresh and hot!!
