When my daughter was in hs we played the hippos all the time in volleyball. The dads all dressed up in handmade matching shirts. Really cute.

The obligitory anti-Jim Rome post. Must be used whenever the name Jim Rome is mentioned. Extra points are awarded for a Jim Everett reference. Although I'm sort of dissappointed that it took so long. You Rome-haters are slipping.

I don't like Rome, but after seeing Stephen A. Smith, Rome has moved up in my book.

Hadn't seen any posts defending Rome on this thread. Mine merely points out that anytime someone brings up something that was said on Rome's show, it's only a matter of time before Jim Everett is brought up.

If that's defending Rome, I guess I didn't do a very good job.
