Astros win back-to-back games for the first time in a month. Are they making their run?

i don't really need a streak, i just want them to win 7 or 8 games out of 10. that would be great!

if the astros come back and win the central, it really wouldn't surprise me. i've seen it all ever since they came back from forever down to make it to the series last year. ;)

Astros 11-1 when Biggio hits a home run and 51-0 when they outscore their opponent. :D

Where do they come up with these stats?

Yes, Luke scott has been pulling his weight since entering the starting lineup maybe he can keep it up if he does then where does that leave preston wilson..?

6 or more games won on that trip and we are in good shape..

The bad thing is that 4 of the teams the Astros are chasing are in the West, and they have only 3 games (vs Arizona) against those teams left this season. The good news...how about Bidge with a 2 homer game at his age? Flippin sweet!

Flippin sweet! actually that isnt as bad as u think, yes we cant play them and make up the games ourselves but the NL West has to play each other and since one team isnt clearly better than the other then they can beat up on each other....in the mean time we can hopefully win most of our games and scoot by them...also like i said earlier, we are within 1 game of 4 of the 6 teams, we take a couple series in a row and we are in 3rd easy and breathing down teh dbacks and reds necks.....

Preston Wilson has officially lost his job to Luke Scott. I dont see Preston being resigned at the end of the year. Also, I too think that Ensberg is the key. There needs to be one person behind berkman or in front to help get some better pitches. This 10 game road trip is a make or break time for the Stros. The way they play in it will really dictate how the rest of the season will go.
