2006 Sammy Baugh Classic Schedule

Thursday September 7th: San Angelo Grape Creek vs. Colorado City @ 7:30 pm
Friday September 8th: Brownwood vs. Sweetwater @ 7:30 pm
Saturday September 9th: Sweetwater Jr. Pee Wee vs. Abilene Raiders @ 9:00 am (Rematch of 2005 Big Country Youth League Super Bowl)
Saturday September 9th: Jim Ned vs. Breckinridge @ 2:00 pm
Saturday September 9th: Coahoma vs. Roscoe @ 7:30 pm

I may have to make the trip for that early morning game on Saturday. The player introductions alone will make that one an all-time classic.

LOL, Maybe now that their all a year older, they can keep their feet under them a little better. :D

Well the jr pee wees started practice yesterday . We have a good sized line and about 10 speedsters in the back field should be a fun season. The line averages about 132 lbs. The two best linemen will be on defense all the time they are a wrecking crew. These kids are ready for another good run.

10 kids in the backfield??? I thought you had to have 7 guys on the LOS to start a play...;)

We run a hybrid type of offense. Check the rule book it's legal! :D

When doesn't Sweetwater have speed?

Looks like a great line up for football, should be a good weekend.
