Clayton will play in THSCA game tonight
Former Sweetwater all-state defensive end Russell Clayton will be playing for the North team tonight in the Texas High School Coaches Association's all-star football game.
The game begins at 7:30 p.m. at Austin's Royal Memor-ial Stadium. Larry Dippel, the former head football coach at Amarillo High School, will coach the North team.
Clayton, a 2006 graduate of Sweetwater High School, plans to walk on at Texas State Uni-versity this fall. He also played in the FCA Myrle Greathouse All-Star Classic in Abilene this past June.
