It sure was great to see Gene Elston recieve the Ford C. Frick award by the Baseball Hall of Fame today. I spent many a night listening to Gene, as did many of us long-time Astros fans.

people that grew up after cable t.v. will never understand the thrills of an Elston on the radio calling games for your favorite team.....

ESPN was saying something about the Astros working on a deal to send Lidge to TEX for Hank Blalock and then getting Scott Linebrink from SD.

Who knows?????
