You're too young to know about that show. It was a tv show in the 70's that featured Buck Owens and Roy Clark and a host of country comedy stars.

The back ground scenery in the short shorts and tight fitting tops was the best part of the show. The music wasn't bad either. Country music's version of MTV!!!

According to Buck Owens, a part of him died in 1974 when his "right-hand man" Don Rich was killed in a motorcycle accident. Buck's musical performances on these Hee-Haw shows confirms that. He looks as if he's just going through the motions, compared to his earlier appearances, which had a lot more pep.

Hee-Haw reminds me back when households only had one TV. My dad would make us turn the channel (no remote in those days), as us kids were getting settled to watch the Brady Bunch. Of course dad won, and my sisters would pout and run to their rooms, and I would watch Hee-Haw. I used to like when the old man would start talking about the vittles he was gonna cook. That was funny!:D

What I liked best were the quartet gospel songs that they would sing on each show...I always found them to be very uplifting.
