1A -- Roscoe
2A -- Mart
3A -- Sweetwater and Wylie
4A -- None
5A -- Abilene High

It's true, Hate is an awful word to use here. However, in regards to 5A, I hated (SORRY!) Victoria High because they were our (Stroman) city rivals. It was a good heated rivalry in it's day. Also, I really, really, really, disliked Uvalde. When Cuero's winning ways were starting, Uvalde always set them back. Actually I'm a pretty mellow person....really, I am........

it's not that i "hate" teams but i hate PLAYING some teams. if that makes sense. such as wylie [you knew that was coming] the only reason i hate PLAYING them is because we are treated like crap everytime we play them. snyder is the same way. i dont hate the team, i hate PLAYING the team. if any of this is making sense.

I can see some reasons you may not like Wylie. (Win/Loss record
may have something to do with that)

wylies record actually has nothing to do with my dislike for them. i support wylie when they make the play-offs. just the overall way they treat us when we play them is horrible. snyder treats us the same way wylie does but not as extreme.

I only hate one team and its from Class 2A Taft Greyhounds, Maybe just that old rivalary. Going on for like 80 or 90 years until this year. And to top it off my sister is married to a Taft Greyhound:D It's cool I like to tease him about Sinton beating Taft everytime

I know im only talking about 4a but i don't have a problem with any 3a so far and i don't really watch any other classes!! But i don't really like La Marque!!! They do have some great athletes and they do play hard!! But i was at a game last year and they came out on to the field with their hands in the air taunting the other team and just about ran on the other teams sideline taunting talking noise and i thought that didn't show much class!!!

I have no clue who "Lucky Gamble" is (that is a totally cool name though)....

BUT, if SRT says he is a "class act", then I probably wouldn't care for him as I don't think mine and SRT's definition of "class act" is the same!!

Lucky Gamble coached in Alto a while back but that's the extent of my knowledge of him :D

well I can recall several times that I disliked playing a team....a few come to mind like Giddings, Manor, and Smithville for instance, they didn't play very clean....on the other hand, I loved playing Rockdale and Caldwell cause half the time we were just toying with them

see the downlow enquirer article??? Thats the kind of crap he is famous for. There is no reason that man with his ability and knowledge shouldnt be big time but its his actions and shadiness that have cost him a great career.

Our guys were lined up across the field waiting for the National Anthem before the '93 semis when they took the field and ran right through our guys, touching off a brief skirmish. I thought that was pretty bush league on their part.

im not a big fan of 2A Taft. it goes back to the big rivalry when i was growing up. i dont like mathis all that much for the same reason. but ill root em on in the playoffs though
