rain....holy crap it's about time

the past two days have found us rain hungry panhandle people experiencing some scattered showers, and today has been evn better. its been continually worsening, as one of my several farming uncles went to one of his wells, recently dug, and found it bone dry. that is an expensive mess, and can spell disaster. the forecast does show a promising week ahead though, but it doesn't always work out that way.

It is actually cloudy here right now and the temperature is dropping really fast.

Just talked to my son who is in Midland and he said it was pouring there....haven't seen anything but a few sprinkles in Greenwood yet.

It's strange, Midland is having their annual "Rock the Desert" concert this weekend.

Year before last it rained so hard they had to shut it down. It rained pretty good last year when they had it, and now it's raining tonight....in Midland anyway!
