There has been much talk about the Aggies having a soft football schedule this year - especially during the first part of the season but it is tougher than you think. And remember this is from a UT fan so you must take note.

First they play The Citadel who has given Clemson a few close games in the past. Remember Clemson won the NCAA National Championship in 1981. The Citadel must not be taken lightly.

Then there is Louisiana-Lafayette. They will be a much improved over the team that lost to UT last year.

Then Army. Very scary indeed and the fact it is billed as the AT&T Corps Classic increases the risk for the Aggies. Remember Army won the National Championship in 1944 and 1945 and many people feel they should have got it in 1946.

Then Louisiana Tech. Remember Terry Bradshaw played there and he won four Super Bowls at Pittsburgh. Not to be taken lightly.

Then Texas Tech - always dangerous indeed.

Kansas is next and we must remember that Kansas knocked Iowa State out of the Big 12 North Championship.

Missouri - always dangerous indeed.

Oklahoma State - remember who gave UT a scare with big halftime leads the last two years?

Baylor - very dangerous indeed especially with Bill Bradley coaching that defense plus they gave the Aggies and Oklahoma a scare last year.

Oklahoma next. Nuff said.

Then Nebraska who may be the Nebraska of the old days this year.

The of course UT in Austin!!

A tougher schedule than was thought indeed.

Thank you everyone! I also forgot to mention that Army gave the great Stauback lead Navy team of 1963 a big scare losing only when time ran out on them close to victory near the Navy goal line.

Former Big 10 players take on the big 10 and BIG 12....

2. Iowa State center Scott Stephenson transferred from Minnesota. Stephenson said Big 12 football is faster than the Big Ten, and the stadiums louder. "At Nebraska, I couldn't hear my guards making calls," he said. "I couldn't hear (quarterback) Bret (Meyer)." Maybe that's a commentary on Gopher fans.

I would say alamobowl again for the wolverines...
