They won't even win the West Division in C-USA.

 thats just wierd

but, DID YOU KNOW, that Kolb could be only the 4th QB to start 50 consecutive games ??? UH will have to play in the C-USA title game and a bowl game, but it could happen

No, stafford was throwing late into the 4th. He didn't even put the backups in during the state game.

The Coogs might make a bowl game, but top 15? There's more buzz about Rice right now in H-
town than UH. We'll see what happens...

The rise of the big 12 conference has simply left colleges like houston and rice out of the recruiting loop.

would be nice for u of h to be successful, just cannot see it happening at a national scale.

there are a lot of positions on the field other then the QB and there were a lot of backups playing. The QB might have played late but thats probably bout it!

New coaching staff (including Applewhite), new offense (they're gonna PASS!) and stadium renovations. It's more of a curiosity thing I guess. But U-H will most likely be better at least this season.

The Cougars will definitely be one of the contenders for the C-USA title this year, and that may be the best conference of all the mid-majors. MWC is tough, but I think C-USA has the depth this year.

I could see the Coogs going 9-2 this season. They won't get by Miami, but if they could pull mild upsets against Tulsa and UTEP and slip by SMU, Oklahoma State, and Central Florida they could even be 10-1 with a trip to the Conference Championship.
