Happened back in 1930, Texas Tech varsity football lost to Spur High school 72-6.


It was not uncommon back in the 20's and 30's for a College to play a high school team, there were no rules for recruiting in high schools back then, and some high school teams had better recruits than the Colleges.

I know why VY was such a beast, apparently his great great grandfather was the reason.

Texas split a series with Transylvania in 1905 and 1910
