Frenship should be strong this year as they have a good nucleus coming back. Their junior class (soph. last year) is very strong.

Frenship is usually always pretty strong in most sports. We used to play them alot when we were in 4A. Even in the same district with them a couple of times.
Frenship is to Lubbock, pretty much as Wylie is to Abilene, and pretty much the same demographic makeup as well. Wylie just has alot classier people on the whole, from my experiences with both. Frenship is very poor loosers!

I know all about Frenship from my days living in Lubbock. (People forget I went to Tech for two years before transferring to The University.)

From my experiences, Frenship acts as if they are a Highland Park/Westlake/The Woodlands, but they aren't. And it gets annoying really fast.

**No offense to the Frenship fans on this website.

I just realized that if I go to this game, it would be a weekend bonaza of football, seeing as how that is Texas/OU weekend.

Look for new Frenship QB Seth Doege to take the helm with force, the junior to be picked up numerous awards in the 2A ranks as he was the centerpiece to the Crane Golden Cranes deep playoff runs into the playoffs. He will only be a junior this year and has the size to compete.

Frenship is also full of very poor winners. I have never seen a team with less discipline in my life. Most players have their jerseys long and untucked. Guys celebrating EVERY tackle in the 1st quarter that they make like it was a game saving play. Players taking off their helmets on the field and pounding their chest saying "look at me...I'm great." What's even worse is that the coaches and parents applauded the kids for doing this. Ooo...I was stewing in my seat watching it. Needless to say...I left early in the 2nd quarter.

"Back in the day" I remember watching us getting our butts kicked up and down the court by Midland Carver. I don't remember the exact score, but it was around 120-50 or close to that.  :(
