Microsoft is planning on releasing and MP3 type player to rival the Ipod.

and i see this one working... microsoft wasnt far off when they put an HD in the XBox that stores music

It also stores pictures and videos in the 12 GB hard drive for the 360. I'm not sure about regular xbox storing music, pictures, and video.

i think its a good idea. it will be windows compatible... but now with Macs you can run OS10 or Windows, so its all interchangeable...

i can see mircosoft pulling it off too...ipods arent that good..mine has messed up so many times it pathetic...

it just freezes up...and at one point the screen went black and i couldn't see anything!...i just stopped using it...

not bad at all...it was a christmas present from my girlfriend...its like the 28GB one i think...

i have the 30GB one with video. i drop it, its fallen out of my parked car, and it still works :D

thats what i have and mine hasn't messed up. im very careless with mine too it's been dropped, thrown, stepped on and it still works.

Glad to see more competition for MP3 players. Maybe another big name out there will help to decrease prices some. IPods are so dang expensive. I went with a Toshiba Gigabeat.

I went with the Creative Zen Micro.

You pay more for the ipod because of the name.

Here is the thing about IPODs..Apple ADMITS they only expect the IPOD to last on average about a year before a consumer will have problems with it.

i've had friends that have had theirs since about 8th grade and they haven't had problems with it. but, of course, some people will have problems with theirs. i suppose it just depends.
