That was cool.

Brody is the man. :D

Brodie: My Grandmother always used to say "why buy the cow, when you can get the sex for free".
T.S. Quint: She said that?
Brodie: All the time, before she became a lesbian on her 60th Birthday, but that's besides the point.

65. Jules Winnfield

Film: "Pulp Fiction" (1994)
Defining moment: Samuel L. Jackson toiled in Spike Lee bit-player obscurity for a lot of years. But the scene that made him, that gave him the inherent cool no matter how many "Formula 51s" he makes or how many times he gets eaten by a shark, is the scene when we first hear this speech:
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."
Awesome.
Memorable quote: "It's the one with 'bad motherf***er' written on it." He is probably the coolest characters on the list.

89. Derek Vinyard

http://www.progressiveboink.com/b/images/100film/89.jpg
Film: "American History X" (1998)
Defining Moment: Without a doubt, the moment that makes the Edward Norton character in this movie, the thing that sets the skinhead apart from all the bull rhetoric and truly turns him into a scary MFer. . . is the death by curbing. A regretable black man comes to his final moments via the business end of Derek's boot. Cringe-inducing, every time.
Memorable quote: "Now say goodnight."

my personal favorite

horrible.....just horrible...they left out

"I'll be back." from The Terminator

or

"We need a bigger boat" from Jaws

or how about....

"Thats what I LOVE about highschool girls...i get older, they stay the same age!" from Dazed and Confused

THAT LIST SUCKED!!!

It wasn't the 100 greatest quotes, it's the 100 greatest characters.
