Mike Hicks had over 1000 yards last year as a freshmen so my vote goes to him.

I wanted to vote for Tre, but we have about 4 good receivers (maybe more), so his numbers may not be as high do to Cuero spreadin' the ball around...

I'm not even sure the guy from Gilmer will get to play yet, but if he does, he'd be one to watch out for since him and Kinne are used to hookin' up...

I voted for Wharton's Shelton... they have a decent QB, but Shelton is a stud at receiver... he's tall, can jump, can catch, can hold on to the ball and is just an all around great athlete... hopefully Wharton can do well with him instead of wasting talent as usual...

Come to think of it, though, he may have a better chance of being the best at throwing the refs' flags this year... hear he does that well ha jk

i voted for tre grey. i saw him play a couple of times last year... good stuff... the kid is a play maker and will go out and grab it if you just throw it up there for him, good thing he has a very accurate QB... but like g2k1 said... the ball will be spread out

Yah, Tre loves gettin' down the sideline for the long bomb, but also loves the 10 yard passes up the middle... it's fun watching him take those balls and cut straight up the field leaving the defender in his dust... but the other receivers do it too so I dunno...

He will for sure be the main target this year... but then again someone could really step up so I dunno... good problem to have...

I'll second "gtownpoke's" vote of Curtis Brown from Gilmer, even though he's not on the list.

Curtis Brown/Gilmer
Jamell Kennedy(is that right?)/Gilmer
The next kid from Canyon
Joel Johnson/Ingleside

The Tuminello kid will be a third- or fourth-option if he moves to Gilmer.

I heard we have another receiver, but his talents are being kept hidden until the season starts............. :D :D :) :)

Seriously, Tre' obviously is the "go to" guy, but we do have alot of "good hands" guys.........

The Kickoff Banquet is Thursday, Aug 10th if anyone is interested in tickets, give me a holler

only other I can comment on is Jamial Shelton from Wharton, he has a great pair of hands :)

Both of our Recievers got decked several times but it happens all the time when your a Reciever and concentrating on making a catch.

One of our Senior Recievers from last year is going to Texas State on a scholarship and I know Tre has allready been offered by Houston . Guess it pay's off to get decked a time or two .:D

it will be interesting to see which of these recievers will end with the best stats...we'll have to keep up with them...

That was the hardest hittin' secondary I have ever seen... And I'm talking college and NFL as well...

i think because of the district's Tre and we are in, Jamial will have a better chance to put more numbers on the board..but who knows...

i'll homer vote an unknown receiver from canyon, because one of those four guys will become the prime target of ramos, and have a bigtime statistical year.

If wharton can come up with more offensive threats to support him, J. shelton is a wonderful athlete.

Hopefully wharton can find ways to use these great talents.

I think Tre Gray does...

Had a 99 yard TD interception last year in the 3rd round...
