Angela Akins to transfer to UT Women's Golf Team

This was announced by Women's Golf Coach Susan Watkins. Angela joins other good recruits Angela Richards, Raelyn Smith and Brittany Tomerlin so the future of UT women's golf looks bright indeed as they young ladies are good, promising young golfers.
Angela Akins is the daughter of former UT and Gregory-Portland quarterback Marty Akins who became an outstanding lawyer. Her aunt Mina was great at GP and is now running for appears court judge in the Austin area and she has been a successful lawyer.
Her grandfather, Coach Ray Akins, was a great high school coach and had great success at Freer and Gregory-Portland.

This is a good point and I tried to find one but couldn't and she had been removed from the TCU roster. :( I will post one as soon as one is available. :)
