Well, what a way to start the year. The Bulls O looked great. Phillip looked like he is ready to jump into record books, plenty of receivers to catch the ball, (Krebs looks great!), J. Young can run, the Line kept Phillip protected all night... All in all, Wow!!

Defense - Looked good. Another standup game by Romines. Defense looks like it is coming together. I've said before the defense is bigger and stronger this year. I believe by District it should be playing very, very well.

The starters were out of this game by the first series of the second half when the bulls were up 48-7. It could have been a runaway, but I am proud that we didn't do anything goofy and run up the scores and take a chance on getting someone hurt. We have a long year and hopefully a long postseason; let's play to win it all.

One thing I definitely want to say about Burkburnett... Great Job! This team never layed down the whole night. They are a young team, only returning six seniors and two starters. But they battled on and played their tails off all night. Keep up the fight guys.

Looks like we will see Mineral Wells at Home next week. I know we aren't supposed to look ahead, but I just cannot wait to go to Pilot Point the week after and play the team that hung half a hundred on Aubrey, (<Grin> just a little razzing ya PPSTATEBOUND).

Good Job BULLS! Have a good week and bring on Mineral Wells...
