After losing a pledge from Super Team DB Shawn Sullivan to Nebraska, TCU proved it didn't have a problem attracting big-time talent.

The Horned Frogs picked up a verbal pledge from Hutto ATH Jeremy Kerley this week, giving TCU six commitments from the Class of 2007.

Kerley was a do-it-all player last year for Hutto, which surprised many by making it to the 3A DII final before losing to Tatum. Kerley (5-10, 185, 4.4) rushed for 1,477 yards, passed for 1,139 yards, and had 5 INTs on defense (one returned for a TD).

His versatility laned him a spot as the third-team Utility player on the Super Team offense.

He must have changed his mind over the past week. Cause he told me he was leaning towards A&M. Much better choice wearing purple rather than maroon. Good luck to him.

guess he decided he didnt want to go to collie station and go 6-6 every year and miss the bowl game experience.

Jeremy chose TCU for all of the right reasons. He did not mislead any of the others that recruited him and chose TCU because it was the best fit for him.

He is a great kid with great parental and family support and TCU will be VERY glad to have Jeremy on campus.

I thought A&M pulled their ship for him?

Bulldog_12 might know. Or AJ.

You are correct KTJ. After seeing Jeremy in person at the A&M camp a few weeks ago, our coaches decided to make Ryan Broyles of Oklahoma our #1 CB target and only CB signee of this class.

TCU is a great choice. He will probably be a WR or maybe a safety.
