That club show earlier this year was pretty small though, right? I'll bet that intimacy was nice, but at what a cost.

They had it in TCU's gym in Dallas. You would think they would start scheduling concert halls.

The show is gonna be at the AT&T center. Still trying to decide if I'm gonna go.
I don't think I should take my 12 year old though.

The first leg of the tour was pretty much club gigs to practice in preparation for the European tour. Now back in the U.S. they should be selling out arenas. They've got ATT Center in SA and AAC in Dallas, as well as The Pavilian in The Woodlands.

I might need to get some tickets and scalp them on ebay.

Probably a good idea given the content of the new album. Man, I can't wait for this show. I saw them in '01 back when they stopped at the Freeman Coliseum and they rocked that place. Moving it to the ATT Center should make things even better.

Edit: If you want a great show for the kiddos, take them to see The Blue Man Group. Presale is still going on with code MEGASTAR. That one will be great for the whole family. :D

I'm suprised they are doing the AAC instead of smirnoff or nokia. From what I have heard it's actually real expensive to rent out and only big time bands can sell it out.

Seeing as how Tool only tours every 4-5 years, I'm pretty sure that there won't be a problem getting enough people to turn out. I've been salivating waiting for this new album and tour.

Good grief, I still haven't been able to get through for tickets. :(

Tool's one of those bands like Bruce Springsteen. The younger crowd probably won't turn up as much, but because Tool was so huge back in the day and have developed such a cult following, they still sell out everywhere they go.

Finally managed to get through. Got section 105. I was hoping for floor so that I could get thrashed by the Aryans, but oh well. I'll still have a blast being able to see the show. :D

And by the way, it looks like they'll sell out the entire arena. My fiancee tried getting through on her cell, and she could only get section 209. Nosebleed!

Happy day! :D

Great googly moogly, I didn't realize that even Plaza level seats were $53.95 plus Ticketmaster's 50% worth of fees. Ouch.

I found a pair of floor seats on ebay for $389 like 20 minutes after they went on sale. I can only imagine how expensive they'll be as the show grows closer.

I'm not sure. I was just gonna try and get tickets up close so I could resell them. The past shows in dallas have gone for big on ebay.
