End of 1st, Marlin 7 Newton 0. At the end of the quarter Newton was on the Marlin 8, but their field goal attempt was blocked.

My brother is a coach at Newton. My parents are at the game and are calling with updates at the end of each quarter.

Heard from a friend that went, he said the final was Marlin 35 - Newton 21. Im not sure but thats what he told me.

Yes that is the right score. With about 35 seconds left in the game Marlin gets an interception and runs it in for the TD tying the knot. It was a great game. Newton came out to play and played better than I expected them to but nobody should have their heads down, they lost to a good team and they have had a great season. We'll get 'em next year!

Congrats to Jasper!! Should be a pretty easy game next week (no offense to BC). Might as well make the rings!!
