Great news indeed! The USA got the job done even though Japan gave us our first two runs but we did the same on the two runs they scored on as we won 5 to 2. Our batters did a great job as we scored three home runs two off Ueno. This year the team was determined and had got together before the event unlike last year when they thought by just showing up we would win. CAT was magnificient as was the defense. Way to go USA!

I said:

USA 6
Japan 0...maybe 1

You didn't think we could score that many runs off of their pitcher! Oh ye of little faith! :)

Japan probably would have been held to just one one but CAT overthrew first base on the last play and the runner on third scored. The Japanese batter got greedy and tried to go to second and got caught in a run down.

i watched the end of their title game today on tv and she is awesome. Wow....what a play to end on. That was crazy. And am I the only one that thinks someone could have fun with that picture with photoshop??
