Playing with/Learning Photoshop....(One for the Wharton fans)

Hey everyone,

The last day or two I've been playing w/ Photoshop trying to figure it out. It's a very complexed program and is MUCH MUC more than say Windows Photo Manager or MS Paint.....I'm begining to see why it's several hundred dollars and why they call it "professional" software....anyway...on with it.....

i love photoshop, some friends and i have facebook picture wars. where we steal our friends picture and make the funniest photoshoped pics....then load them up for everyone to see. quite fun and funny.

i use adobe photoshop creative suite 2 premium.:D

Yeah, I'm going to be working a lot with Photoshop CS, but I'm going to try and get it through the school. A lot cheaper.

its an amazing program, you can do so much with it. made my first school webpage with it. looked outstanding, but took it down when i needed more room for my proengineer drawings on the uta server.

You should put a 1 pixel stroke around the text.

Right click on the text layer and go to blending options. You stuff in there to make the text stand out.

If you change the blend mode on the outerglow then change the color it will appear better. Then mess with the spread and size settings.
