I'm very happy excited to report that my photo which I took back in October 2005 during Homecoming "Burning Of The Neverending S" reached to semifnalist in the Action Catagory in the International Open Amateur Photography Contest. And now will be automatically entered into the final competition to be held later this summer. And be published in a book Endless Journeys coming in the fall of 2006. My photo was selected because of it's unique perspective and artistic vision and believe it will add importance and appeal to 2006's edition:) :) :) :) :) :)http://img68.imageshack.us/img68/2904/dscf01381zx.jpg

Congradulations but be careful. My wife wrote and submitted a poem to an internet contest. She was contacted and told that it was selected as a prize winning entry. It was to be published in a book of national poetry. They wanted her to send $150 for a pre-printing reservation to insure that she get a copy and that the book would be more expensive after the printing. She did not send the money and they sent her several more letters asking for the money.

My opinion is if they ask for money it is probably a scam.

you have to have it hosted on some site like image shack, then "hot link" to it. www.imageshack.us

Well, we would build a bonfire but they were deamed too dangerous in the mid 90s, so we decided to go old school.

This was actually a subtle aggie joke, but oh well. I have no idea why they stopped. It was before I moved here. Where I used to live, we burned an "O".
