It has been going on the past few days and right now USA and Japan are going to be in the final championship game. I think they may play an meaningless game today so I look for them to rest their stars and not care as much about today's game. We will see. Go USA!

In the 2nd game yesterday, USA scored 10 runs in the 1st inning against China.

I saw the Australian shortstop commit two errors in the same inning. I bet she got a sever tongue lashing when she hit the showers.

Sure did Cameron and this is her picture in action against Australia. The USA beat Japan yesterday (Sunday) 11 - 0 but today is the game that really counts as the championship is tonight at 8 P.M. on ESPNU (I think). Japan saved their ace Ueno so the game will probably be close tonight like 1 to 0 or 2 - 1. The USA saved their aces but our reserves are better pitchers. Look for a close one tonight as I have said. Go USA!

If we get to Ueno early, then we could score 6. However, no one gets to Ueno early.

Last year after the USA softball team had really been dominate it was upset during the games by Canada and lost the Championship Game to Japan 3 to 1. Hopefully this year the USA will be able to win it. It must be pointed out that Crystal Bustos who is one of our best hitters was not in that game but is back so hopefully with our main players back except for Lisa Fernandez one of our great pitchers. Go USA!

Cat will probably start. Jennie Finch is still recovering slowly from giving birth to her son about two months ago so they are bringing her back gradually. Lisa F is pregnent again so she won't play this year. I think she is ready to become a full time mom and wife.
