Bellville/Marlin: Will the Possum Show?

We all remember the possum from last years clash. (if you don't know, get the story). What role will the possum play this year?

Actually, I saw a dude carrying a dead possum along the side of the road near Canton on Thanksgiving Day (No I'm not kidding!!) Think it might have been our critter, so all this talk may be moot!!! eek!

Yea, halftime. Band was playing, and here comes the possum out of nowhere. He ran around the field for a while, then took it to the 10, the 5, and in for a TD! Then 3 or 4 men armed with sticks and trashcans made fools of themselves for a good 20 mins trying to catch the little critter. Finally escorted him through the gate, and he was gone. But his legacy lives on!

During half at the Marlin/Bellville game at Bryan last year, this possum appears outa nowhere. He runs down the field and scores in the north endzone. He then ran up against the retaining fence and couldn't get out. Dude with garbage can tries to corral the critter, but the agile little beast had too many moves. The crowd was rolling! Finally, the critter finds a gate and escapes off into the horizon. This depiction didn't do it justice. It was a real riot and it lasted at least 10 minutes. Somebody could dig up the thread from last year and repost it. It would be fun!

Thanks 22 and 73. I know I would have killin myself. I will off here until sometime next week so I wanted to say once again.....GOOD LUCK THIS WEEK END. KICK SOME BUTT AND WE WILL TRY TO DO THE SAME! Then we can meet again and have a real football game. Just thought I would stir a little ---- before leaving.

the possum was looking for some tortillas and he got mad and left the stadium.

he did show his moves though cut back spin and then scored a TOUCH DOWN.
heck marlin should have suited him out might of helped

or was that the curse of the bellville brahamas
