Question for all the other computer nerds...

Has anyone ever heard of Wintec memory? I'm building a computer and just getting some cheap RAM until I can afford 2GB's of dual channel Patriot.

It's either 512 of Wintec or 512 of G.Skill right now. The G.Skill has a latency of 2.5, so I'm leaning towards it, but if Wintec is more reliable I may just go Wintec.

You know what, don't worry about it. I'm just not going to get memory or a hard drive just yet. I was going to go with a 160 GB SATA 3.0 HD @ 7200 RPM and that memory for now, but since I'll be upgrading to a 74 GB SCSI 320 HD @ 15K RPM and 2 gigs of high-grade memory later, I'll just save the money.

I still have one question, though. Are the AMD Opteron 939's as good as the 940's? I'm planning on going with a 939 dual core Opteron @ 2.0 Mhz.

I actually got some PM's that helped me out quite a bit and I just placed the order.
