I don't even want to think about Decatur last year-:D The bad part is those dirty birds have got Cobb back at QB, and Cardenas (remember this name come all-state pick time) at WR.

Well, as G2, PPHSFan, and I travel we try to keep a camera handy, but we can't show most of them.....but sometimes I do borrow an occasional shot from various websites, CC. ;)

ROFL... Nice one Bullaholic! I agree with your comments... Cardenas should be all state.

Gonna be a rough schedule... Here's hoping my Bulls pull through.

its nice when your team is good enough to earn criticism for uniforms because no1 wants to question the skill :)

Chandler Dane almost beat us his junior year on one leg. It was in
the third round. He threw a hail mary on the last play of the game.
Our safeties tackled the WR on the one yard line.
Sweetwater fans know what kind of talent there is in Decatur.
See ya'll on Sept. 14th in the Gordon Wood Classic. :D

It's in Brownwood. It will be on a Thursday night. Didn't he roll it
or twist his ankle the week before? He had no mobility in our
game. You could tell he was in alot of pain.

Well, over that last few years all of these schools started
comming up with all these "Classics". They invite eight schools
to play in them. Usually, one game is Thursday night, one is
Friday night (the host team plays in this one), and then they
schedule two games on Saturday.
If you are asking where Brownwood is...it's about 80 miles
south of Abilene...straight down Highway 84.

That Decatur - Sweetwater game was a classic. I remember Sweetwater kicking and recovering an onside kick really early in that game. Carillo also somehow stole the ball from a Decatur receiver late in that game when the mustangs were trailing.

Actually he was playing with two broken bones in his foot...and a severe sprain in the ankle. What a great game.

*WARNING - THREAD PIRACY*

I saw both a Decatur and a Bridgeport player at the camp we were at Friday in College Station. Will something was one of the kids, forgot the other's name. They apparently rode to CS together.

It's amazing what people will do when they start running out of options.
