Encouraging news indeed soccer fans. Even though I am sure it will never catch up to football and well it shouldn't it is making progress. In fact the tv viewers have increased well over 30 percent more than watched the 1998 World Cup. The 2006 World Cup moved ahead of the NBA finals! In fact it was just barely beat out of No. 4 MLB! It is getting there. It is estimated by the experts that it will be No. 2 in 2010!!! Amazing progress! America is getting better!

i think the number of people watching got better.......it can get tricky sometimes flippin the channels and not stopping on reality tv.
