I got a chance to see the starting line-ups side by side on ESPN
this morning. It looks bad for the NL.

However, the AL may be limited by what pitchers it can use. Then again...consider facing the following rotation:

1st Inning - Kenny Rogers
2nd Inning - Kenny Rogers
3rd Inning - Mark Buerhle
4th Inning - Barry Zito
5th Inning - Roy Halladay/Scott Kazmir
6th Inning - Francisco Lariano/Bobby Jenks
7th Inning - BJ Ryan/Bobby Jenks
8th Inning - Mariano Rivera/BJ Ryan
9th Inning - Jonathan Papelbon/Mariano Rivera

Looks accurate except for the closer part. Guillen specifically said
that Rivera is his closer. He said after all he's done in his career
how could he not be? :D

K I hadn't heard him say that. That's who I would have chosen as well...I was just going by what I remember most of the guys on ESPN speculating would be the order of finish. Everybody said Papelbon except 1 guy said Jenks.

I think that's why he came out and said it. Alot of reporters
were assuming it would be Jenks since that's his boy.

I was pissed that he took on Jenks and Buerhle when it was total BS that Liriano didn't make the squad. At least he made it in the end thanks to Contreras (who deserved to be on the squad) pulling out yesterday.

I also feel like anybody that hits 5 grand slams before the All-Star
break should be there also as in Travis Hafner.
