I had been hearing rumors of this, so I e-mailed hooters and asked them if this were true.. This is part of the reply I received from them:

"There is a Hooters scheduled to open in Beaumont in August of this year."

now if we can get a Free Birds, we'd be set :D

No, the closest one for us is the Cedar Park area, about 30 or so miles. Hooter's is one of my guys favorite resturants. They definatley have the best chicken wings that I've ever had. And their their breast are huge, they totally cover up the buns. :)

Will there be enough local talent to hire? Might need to recruit some out of the area talent. Where is G A Moore when you need a recruiter
?

The word on the street is that it would be easy while meeting your waitress to say with shifty eyes "how ya'll doin'"!

All joking aside, Hooters is a great resturant, with great food and a friendly staff. As people have gotten over what they "think" Hooters is, more and more families are enjoying the great resturant. Their kids eat free nights have been a great hit. :)

I'm not really that impressed with their wings and had pretty much given up on eating there. However, once I tried their chicken sandwich...it really changed my mind. It's a pretty dang good sandwich!:D
